| Puzzle League voices were bad because the sound quality was like a phone call. If that were not the case, the voices would probably be good. _________________ Biggest Veronica Taylor fan Proud SOVA Member!!!

| I was playing Puzzle League on an emulator (I download the older console games for cheat device code hacking purposes, it is easier to do on an emulator) and the voices are bad. I was playing Resident Evil 2 N64 this morning and it had better quality voices. I have both the PS2 and GC versions of Soulcalibur 2 and the PS2 voices are a little clearer, but not by much. Ben |

Same with most sega genesis games such as Comix Zone or Pulseman. Their voice quality is so bad, it is distorted._________________ My SOVA Blog PM Me if you want to be on my friend list. Friends: Mitch, Tommy |

| The PSOne could handle animated scenes better, though. I was playing the PSOne port of Chrono Trigger on my friend's flat screen, and the added animated scene (a.k.a. The Wedding Scene) at the end of the PSOne version of Chrono Trigger was one of the best video scenes that I have ever seen on a PSOne or a N64 game. The best dubbing of a 16 bit game in my opinion was the pirate fan translation of the SNES Star Ocean. Ben

I just got Sonic 2006 and shadow the hedgehog has worse voice acting (Charmy sounding odd? WTF?). And Mario and Sonic at the olympic games has even worse (For sonic characters.)_________________ My SOVA Blog PM Me if you want to be on my friend list. Friends: Mitch, Tommy |

| The worst dub I've heard besides the PUSA Pokemon dub for an anime, is the Mai-HiME dub. Dx Anybody heard of this anime? I absolutely love it in Japanese, but Bandai just totally killed it in English! I personally think this dub is worse than the PUSA Pokemon dub... Some voices, anyway... That says something, yes? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqXAz29_9_IDDDx They just killed Shizuru's voice! And Natsuki's! _________________ Ash: Lugia! Why are all those Pokémon down there? Lugia: That just one Pokémon could help the world would be worth the journey for thousands of them any day. But this day, the one that can make all the difference is you.

| "Maverick Hunter X." Not only do they butcher the characters' personalities (and the entire plot of the Mega Man X games), but they don't make the right sounds for some of their attacks. Flame Mammoth is supposed to trumpet every time he changes the direction of the conveyor belt in his lair. Instead, he raises his nose to the trumpeting position, but he just goes "Raaah!" |

| I couldn't stand Maverick Hunter X. I had borrowed it from my neighbor's son and it is so bad that I prefer to either play the original (Mega Man X SNES) on my Mega Man X Collection GameCube disc or on an Windows SNES emulator with my USB controller. Resident Evil 1 for the PSOne had better voice acting and Capcom was successful in porting that voice acting over to the DS (Resident Evil-Deadly Silence). Ben |

| "Maverick Hunter X" was an insult to the entire MMX franchise in both story and acting. The X Collection was promised to be really good; they were going to add voices and cutscenes and even rewrite the X6 script, but Capcom of Japan forced Capcom USA to pull it all at the last minute because Inafune feared it would cut sales of MHX. So what we got... were two horrible games. You ask me, you're better off with a SNES (X1-X3), and PS1 (X4-X6), and an emulator if you're missing one of the other two. Yes, folks, I'm even more passionate about Mega Man than I am about Pokemon. |

| X8 is actually decent. It's a nice jump back from the awkward 3D stuff that X7 gave. I'd say go for it, if you can find it cheap. Mind you, the script is as redundant and rambly as MHX. |

| Oh. Well, that one's OK too... though it's more laid back and easy than earlier ones (the version in the Collection has some sound problems; the bosses' voices are sped up). If you want a challenging newer Classic game, I'd get a "Rockman & Forte" emulation (not the GBA version), or wait for MM9 to come out on the Wii VC. |

| I will get MM9 on xbla. I hope it is good. And the reason PPL has bad quality was because it uses lots of voice samples with bad compression. _________________ My SOVA Blog PM Me if you want to be on my friend list. Friends: Mitch, Tommy |

| I have a CD-R copy of the European import of the PSOne version of Mega Man X 3. It is enhanced with animated scenes. Ben |
